BERLIN, NH – The Coös Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), in partnership with the Androscoggin Valley Chamber of Commerce, continued its five-part Business Workshop Series with its second session, AI & Business. Local business owners and professionals gathered at Service Credit Union Heritage Park in Berlin to explore how artificial intelligence can become a practical tool in their everyday operations.
The workshop focused on making AI approachable and useful for small businesses. Participants discussed ways the technology can help save time, improve efficiency, and support smarter workflows. The conversation also gave attendees an opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas, and consider how AI could be applied within their own businesses.
Donald Lansing and Macarena Quezada, owners of Postscript Pharmacy—and recent winners of the $2,500 Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Power Award at CEDC’s inaugural Northern Spark Pitch Competition this past June— helped ground the discussion in real-world business experience. Their participation encouraged an engaging and practical conversation about how local businesses can begin exploring AI and identifying opportunities to use it effectively.
The strong participation throughout the afternoon reflected the purpose of the workshop series: bringing members of the local business community together to learn from one another and leave with useful information they can begin putting into practice.
CEDC and the Androscoggin Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to continue this partnership and provide educational opportunities that support businesses throughout the region.
