What is Northern Spark?

Northern Spark is a pitch competition celebrating entrepreneurship and innovation in Coös County. Local entrepreneurs will take the stage for five minutes to share their business ideas and ventures with a slide deck prepared by them, with support from CEDC and Coaches. Compete for cash awards and business support!

This inaugural event is open to the public and invites community members, business leaders, and supporters of local enterprise to experience the energy of entrepreneurship in the North Country. Attendees will hear live pitches, learn about emerging businesses, and help shine a spotlight on bold ideas shaping our regional economy.

Prizes

• Passumpsic's Brightest Spark - $7,500  | Awarded to the 1st highest-scoring pitch based on competition rubric

• CEDC’s Ignition Award - $5,000  | Awarded to the 2nd highest-scoring pitch based on competition rubric

• Bar Harbor’s Power Award - $2,500  | Awarded to the 3rd highest-scoring pitch based on competition rubric
